If you operate any power-driven vessel, new legislation requires that you obtain a
"Pleasure Craft Operator Card." Designed for people new to boating, this course will
make students aware of acts, regulations and codes; boating terms and expressions;
operator responsibilities, and general boating safety knowledge. Topics include safety
equipment requirements, weather, rules of the road, aids to navigation, charts and maps,
handling emergencies, crew overboard, hypothermia, capsize, and distress equipment.
The exam will be written at the end of the course.
Depending on enrolment Minimum 5 persons
Maximum class size is 15 to 20 persons.
Cost for course is $100.00 per single person.
